HP 2133 Details and Pricing Announced
Looks like the new HP 2133 will be available for purchase on April 7th, starting at $549 and going up to $849. I’m a little bummed they’re skipping the Intel’s Atom processors and using the VIA C7-M series for cpus and the Chrome 9 Chipset.
According to the announcement only SuSE linux and Vista are available, which is disappointing. At least they are offering a *nix variant, and I would imagine you could install XP on it.
Price wise I think it’s pretty reasonable for the quality of the build. The all aluminum case, near full size keyboard, and 1366×766 wxga screen is pretty awesome.
I’m pretty excited for these to come out!
