@Peach1200 - Yup!

@Skullhead - HP has a power manager that will automatically change it to “HP Optimized” when running on battery. You can also manually change it to “High Performance” or “Power Saver”. Hover over your battery icon on the task tray. You can change it at any time too - you don’t need to be plugged in

Why would you do that and how did you get it to do that ? Unless running on batteries automatically make the processor step down ?

You might try Hulu again when you load XP on it, as I have heard that not only does Skype work well, but the flash vids are OK. I am interested in your review on XP !

I hope to try your same tests with my Corsair 32GB SSD drive - 108MB/sec sequential read with HDTach! Writes are slow, but reads look good.

I wonder how much this type drive might offset the slower C7 cpu?

I have the 1.2GHz processor in my HP2133.
