New Mini-Note Models in December!

If this flash ad can believed we’ll see the “glam” Mini-Notes in December with an Atom processor. I imagine that a plain version would be available at the same time…at least I hope so anyways.
I should be talking to someone who can hopefully give me more details today!

A spanish language blog entry at Gizmologia reports that a new HP Mini-Note will be released on December 2, 2008. It will be the Vivienne Tam edition sporting the bright red shell with floral patterns. It will have an 80 GB hard drive with 1 GB of RAM and… a 1.6 GHz Intel Atom CPU.
If those turn out to be the real specs, then paint me disappointed…I wanted a Nano.
Update #2: 10/25/2008
I just noticed the ad no longer has the Intel Atom badge down in the left corner, while the other two PC’s still have their appropriate badges. Hmmmm….

Meh, I’m content with my C7 1.2 which I just upgraded to 2GB RAM. I wonder what the price will be?

what about the black edition, will it be released on December 2 as well? i am going to school already and i badly need to have one. i can’t lug around heavier notebooks on my backpack because i will be bringing books as well which of course will add weight than it already does.
i wish i can have HP Mininote 1000 black edition with a 60GB HDD before December 5.
